What is the EAC?

The Exam Accommodation Center (EAC) provides a quiet, distraction-reduced space equipped to meet a variety of accommodation needs, such as extended time, assistive technology, and other approved supports. This service empowers students to focus on demonstrating their knowledge without unnecessary barriers, fostering a fair testing experience.

For faculty, the EAC offers streamlined processes to help facilitate exam accommodations effectively. By coordinating with our office, instructors can ensure that their students' accommodations are implemented appropriately, minimizing the logistical challenges of accommodating exams within their own classrooms.

Students who feel they may qualify for exam accommodations are encouraged to apply through Student Accessibility Services (SAS). Our team is available to guide them through the application process and determine appropriate accommodations based on their individual needs. The EAC is here to serve as a vital resource in creating a more inclusive academic environment for both students and faculty.
