The purpose of this review is to determine whether the decision was made through an individualized, interactive process and in accordance with applicable law and university policy. This is not a new evaluation of disability status, but a review of whether the accommodation decision was reasonable.
For example, you may wish to share: Information you believe was not fully considered, new or updated information, how the decision affects your access in your courses or program, etc.
All students who submit a formal appeal have the option to meet with the Director of SAS to discuss their appeal. This meeting is optional and is intended to support a fully interactive review process. If you select yes, a staff member will contact you to schedule the meeting.
