ASL Interpreting & Live Captioning Request Form

5 business days advanced notice is required for all requests. Two weeks notice or more is preferred to guarantee access to interpreters and captionists.

SAS provides contract ASL Interpreters, Cued Language Transliterators (CLTs), and Captionists for academic courses and co-curricular activities for registered, eligible students, as well as these university sponsored events: orientation and commencement. All other requests are the responsibility of the hosting department – this includes the day of event communication with the service providers as well as payment of service. Campus partners are free to use this form and SAS will connect you with an appropriately vetted 3rd party service.
